Booking a space at YMCA Taunton used to mean phoning, emailing or popping in – but now you can check availability, book, and pay – all online. This includes:

Whether you’re planning a meeting, want to get active, or fancy trying something new, it’s now quicker and easier than ever to get booked in.
How to Get Started
- New users: You can create your own account online – it’s quick and easy!
- Existing block booking users: Please don’t create a new account – email us at bookings@ymcataunton.co.uk so we can link your details with your current bookings. Please include your email and contact number plus which regular slot you currently have reserved.
Didn’t get a login email? It probably means we didn’t have your contact details – email us and we’ll sort everything out.
What’s New?
- Simplified Pricing: We’ve removed the confusing membership pricing structure to make things clearer and fairer for everyone.
- Online Payments: No more paying on arrival — secure your spot online with ease.
- Streamlined Experience: Everything in one place, accessible 24/7.
What’s the Same?
- U3A: Our 50+ sessions remain unchanged, no need to book online, just turn up and pay as usual.
- Block bookings: Nothing has changed for you just yet — your usual slots are still reserved. However, please note that we’ll also be moving block bookings online soon, so keep an eye out for more information. Please email us so we can give you access to view your bookings, this way you’ll be able to easily cancel any you can’t attend via the new system.
- Parkour: No changes as yet, but we are working on paying your monthly memberships online.
- Judo: You have the choice to continue to pay on arrival, or you can also pay online via the booking system.
Other Ways to Book
You can also continue to book in person, or by phone, or by email. However, we require payment when booking (unless otherwise agreed with our CEO) so we recommend using the booking system.
If you reserve a spot by phone/email then you will need to pay online before the booking is confirmed.
