YMCA Taunton is an independent charity that provides access to affordable sport and fitness, mental and physical wellbeing programmes, youth sessions, and community activities. Our aim is to help people of all ages – particularly young people – to stay active, connect with others, and build confidence in a safe and welcoming environment.
YMCA Taunton is in the final stages of a major refurbishment due to complete this September – and we can’t wait to share our new spaces with the community. But while some areas have had a full refresh, others still need a bit of love.
Our sports hall, toilets, changing rooms, hallways, dance studio, and some meeting rooms are all heavily used by young people and the wider community – and they’re in need of painting and decorating to match the upgraded parts of the centre.
We’re reaching out to local painting and decorating businesses who might be able to donate time, skills, or materials to help us bring these spaces up to scratch.
In return, we’d love to offer:

YMCA Taunton is a fully independent local charity. We don’t receive funding from YMCA England & Wales, and everything we raise stays right here in the community.
